Shyness

Nearby longing
I flirt with shyness in the eyes:
White-snow threads spreading
Across the expanse of nights.
On the edges of prairie
....
خجل
منى ظاهر، النّاصرة
على مَقربةٍ مِنَ الحنينِ
أُغازلُ الخجَلَ في العينين:
خيطانًا مفرِطَةً في البياضِ الكامِنِ
في اتّساعِ اللّيلْ.

على ضفةِ المَرجِ
أنزَعُ عن تفاصيلي
خجَلَها،
وأركبُ جنونَ الهَمسِ
في الشّفتينْ.
* * *
على ريفِ الرّغبَةِ
ألبَسُ خَجَلَ الوردةِ
والذئبَةُ هي العارِفَةُ
بِأُسلوبِ التّوحّشِ
في قلبِ العبير ©
